A glimpse of the parco fluviale del po torinese
Green and blue...who would imagine the province of Torino painted with these colours?
But really is. All the shades of blue of the mountain skies and the rivers and streams, all the naunces of green of the fields, pastures ana woods...In a word: the Parks. Those incrediblenature areas between the Po plain and the Savoy provincial capital and the highest Alpine peaks, where we also find the dazzling white of the glaciers.
The Torino Area Po River Park is located along the luxuriant banksof the "great river", offering exciting scenery from Carmagnola toVerrua Savoia. From here, a brief digression leads to the Torino Hills Park high above the city. You don't need to go very far to take in the atmosphere of bygone days. Both Stupinigi Park and La Mandria Regional Park surround and protect two of the splendid Royal Residence.
A few dozen Kilometres further north, Lake of Candia ProvincialNAtural Park, encircled by morainic hills, hosts an abundance of water birds and aquatic plants.
And then there is the breathtaking scenery of the high attitudes from Orsiera Rocciavrè Natural Park to the Gran Bosco di Salbertrand, from Val Troncea Natural Park to the "senoir" Gran Paradiso National Park, the oldest in Italy.
It goes without saying that our parks are a blaze of emotions for sports enthusiasts, but also a place where families - especially children - can relax and have fun.
How many flowers, animals, adventures, scents, colours...
But then again...the province of Torino is much more than a rainbow!
