L'Esercito della Salvezza Italia is the Italian branch of the Salvation Army, a Christian evangelical movement that took shape in the slums of London in 1865 with the aim of uniting the evangelistic work to that of concrete support to marginalized communities.
In a few decades its development became exponential so that by 1912, at the death of its founder - William Booth – it was then present in over 50 countries.
Today the salvation Army has a presence in 121 countries where it responds to various issues in the lives of those marginalised by society.
The finance derived from the Salvation Army Holiday Centre helps to support the social action work.
Each of our clients, in addition to enjoying a vacation in a comfortable environment, can feel part of supporting those who, for various reasonshave lost a sense of security in certain aspects of their lives.
In addition to Bobbio Pellice we have other Holiday Centers in -
Roma
Ischia (NA)
Firenze
Atena Lucana (SA)
So thanks, for your holidays, from all those involved at the forefront of daily work of the Salvation Army in Italy
